"I wanted a waterproof outerwear that would be easy to use in rainy Japan, so I created a 2.5-layer outerwear. However, I didn't want it to have an outdoor feel or look too much like rainwear, so I based the design on MA-1 and Helicu Jacket. The outer fabric is made of strong ripstop nylon with a water-repellent finish. The back is treated with a PU laminate and the stitching is taped. If you combine this with a waterproof Hat and Pants, you will not get wet in the rain." AH
